The Space Terrace is a famous place to spend your Sunday afternoons on the island. Space is in Playa den Bossa it’s open six days a week, [closed mondays] between May and early October.

Space first opened it’s doors in 1989 as a conference hall. Playa den Bossa was strictly a family resort. Space initially wasn’t really a dance club but had live bands and flamenco. It was also the host to the Mr. and Mrs iBiza pageant. In 1991 Alex P who worked at the club decided to play records to people enjoying a quiet drink on the terrace. The rest is history.

Almost every top DJ has passed through Space’s doors it one of the worlds premier clubs.

The best House and Progressive DJ’s can be seen each and every Sunday for the clubs flahship event - “We Love Sundays” It’s on every Sunday throughout the season from 8am Sunday to 6am Monday morning.

The venue has room for around 5000 guests.

The kind of music you’ll hear at Space is mainly House.

You need to take with you quite a lot of cash. It’s about 65 to get in with a flyer and drinks are expensive.

Even if you are not really into clubbing Space is well worth a visit just for the amazing continental atmosphere.
