In this article I’m going to cover World of Warcraft Gold Farming Strategies. If you’re considering farming, then you’re probably at least a level 60 and own half descent equipment, but your looking to upgrade big. You want better armor, weapons, or even a epic flying mount. This is going to require gold, and a whole lot of it. Farming is a great way to make huge gains in gold that can help you to buy the items you want. Listed are a few pointers when farming.

Farming is the process of killing lots of monsters for the purpose of getting them to drop gold and other valuable loot. This means that you need to determine which the most lucrative and easiest creatures to kill in a given area are. Once you have successfully identified them, concentrate your efforts on this monster type, taking breaks while you wait for them to respawn. Advanced tips: Use World of Warcraft resources such as Thottbot and Allakhazam to assist you in identifying which these monsters are, and to learn the best tips and strategies for farming them. Search Google for Thottbot and Allakhazam if you do not know what they are.

Do not worry too much about really good equipment. Great gear will cost you too much gold, and tends to get obsolete very quickly. Just get some decent greens, and possibly a good weapon to help speed up your kills while farming. While you are actively still leveling in the World of Warcraft, it will be way too expensive to keep your gear new as well as keep your precious gold. Instead of wasting time and money trying to keep pace, just buy cheap new gear when the old stuff is not effective anymore.

The difference between a good farmer and an adequate farmer is if they they consistently killing. Some people will farm for a thirty minutes, watch tv for an hour, farm for another thirty minutes, talk on messenger, watch a bit more tv, farm again for another thirty minutes and call it a day. The gamers that make the big gains in gold are constantly killing nonstop for an extended period of time.

Winterspring - Head to the Lake of Kel’Theril and farm the ghosts such as Anguished Highborne. These aren’t very strong and they’ll drop silver and a good amount of green items. The only drawback of this lake is that it might be overpopulated with other farmers but if its open, definitely take advantage of this spot.

As stated, the world of warcraft gold farming strategies described above can potentially be a lucrative way to make the gold you need, there is one downside though. Farming tends to be extremely time consuming.

Mobs: Certain types of mobs tend to have better drops than others, specifically humanoid mobs. Try to take down as many of these as you can when traveling the lands or on a quest.

Remember: Carry plenty of bags and pickup everything. When you get back to a town, sell everything you don’t need and watch your money grow.
