What Causes A Person To Procrastinate
Thanks for visiting our WorldVentures site.
There are a number of different that can cause to fail in their lives one of them being that the procrastinate far too much. Unfortunately procrastination can be so severe for some people that it prevents them from achieving what they want by placing obstacles of their own making in their way. It is through procrastination a person will choose a particular path to travel in their results which will not allow them to achieve their desired goals.
Unfortunately although you may not realize it, but you could actually be a procrastinator yourself. In this article we provide you with some pointers which will help you to identify and hopefully understand what procrastination is and whether you actually are one yourself.
1. A large number of procrastinators (around 20%) will soon identify that they are chronic procrastinator’s and will know that it leads to them leading a particular kind of lifestyle. The lifestyle they lead will often intrude into all aspects of their life causing it to be very difficult to lead what is considered to be a normal life.
2. For many procrastinators actually managing what time they have available to them in order to complete a certain task is not a problem. Rather they will find it more difficult to sit down and work how just how much time it is they need in order to complete the task in hand.
3. Although some people believe that we are born as procrastinators this is not the case. Many people will learn to procrastinate over time and will learn about it as they grow up. If for example you happen to be a child from a family where there was controlling figure (say the mother or father) then you are more likely to procrastinate than don’t have this kind of person in their lives. Children from such families will find it more difficult to control the way they act and how to deal with certain issues and problems for themselves.
4. For some procrastinators they will rely far more on other substances to help them avoid the effects that their procrastination is having on their lives. For quite a few they will turn to alcohol or other substances which can help to numb or block out the effects and causes of their procrastination. They may especially rely on these things at those times in their lives when they think things are really bad even when they are not.
5. For quite a large number of people who procrastinate they will often use ways to distract themselves so that they can avoid doing those things that they don’t like to do or they don’t feel that they can do. Often they will do a task that they find easy to complete rather than going for the one they know they must do but which they see as far too difficult. This is because they feel that they do not have the right set of skills or abilities in order to achieve the required state of completion.
Yet for those who have identified that they do procrastinate there are certain things that they can do which can help them to make changes and fight procrastinating. Although it is important that when looking for ways to prevent yourself from procrastinating that the changes you make will take time to help you. A person can undergo cognitive behavioral with a trained therapist as a way of making the necessary changes in their lives as well as to understand better why the procrastinate.

Where is the Passion in Your Life?
Thanks for visiting our WorldVentures site.
In today’s fast-paced world, it is easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We commit ourselves to our responsibilities, obligations, and expectations, but we often do so at the expense of our dreams, aspirations, and goals. Our society and our lives are demanding, leaving us with little time and energy to focus on what may seem like selfish or even childish dreams. However, without fulfilling those inner desires we end up loosing an important part of ourselves.
There are several self-help articles about how to make one happier and more fulfilled. But it all starts with realizing your true passion. What motivates you? What makes you smile? Or even, when you were a child what did you want to be when you grew up?
The first step to finding happiness is realizing what it is that makes you want to get up and start moving in the morning. Those aspects of life that leave you whistling are the ones that hold the key to the passions of life.
There are those that have given up the things they wanted most in life in order to be what they were expected to become. The woman who gave up her dream of becoming a CEO in order to raise the family. A father who put away those model trains once life got in the way because they were childish and there simply was not enough time. These were the dreams we allowed to falter because life expected something or we perceived life expected something more of us than we had time to give.
Discovering your passion may actually be difficult if it’s been dormant for an extended period of time. It may have even changed. To answer the question, what are you passionate about, may require that you spend time and energy seriously considering your likes and dislikes. Think back to your youth and the things that interested you as a child or teenager. Think about projects or hobbies you worked on that left you exhilarated. Write in your journal or look through past journal entries and find the pattern of things that leave you feeling better about your day. If you listen to your heart, the answer will reveal itself rivaled by little else.
Once that passion has been rediscovered, living life as a more youthful ans passionate person will become second nature again. But, rest assured, it will be harder the second time around. Real life situations will tug at your passion strings and try to pull you away from the things that once made you so very happy. Resilience is the key to bringing that passion back into your life.
No amount of money or praise at work can compare to the feeling you will get from reintroducing that long lost passion back into your life. There is a euphoria that surrounds a passion, a healing nature that makes all the wrongs of the world disappear and the work entailed in making that passion a part of your aging life, is key to living a fulfilled life.
No one more moment should pass in your life without the time being taken to realize that passion that once drove your youth. Take that time back, leave the guilt at the door and reintroduce yourself to the person you always wanted to be and more. There is nothing better than reliving youth to bring back the happiness you once knew.

Make Lemonade out of Lemons
Thanks for visiting our WorldVentures site.
Creating negative thoughts is just as simple as creating positive thoughts. Sugar Ray Robinson was the one who created that thought and, while the thought may seem like an obvious one, many people still find the art of positive thinking more a chore than a choice.
Like a disease, negative thinking eats away the possibility of positive thinking and the beauty of life in general. For the people who choose to live life in the grasp of negativity, it becomes almost second nature to feel and think negatively. It is ironic, but these people often want to be positive, they have just stopped hoping for the best in life for feat they will achieve the worst.
According to the millions of self-help books on the market today, negative thinking creates a negative energy that almost beings to control one’s life. On the other hand, practicing a more positive mind set can almost evoke positive feelings and thoughts thus changing the path of life. For those who are looking for the best ways to improve overall life happiness, positive thinking is at the heart of this goal.
Once a person allows themselves to open up and release those negative thoughts positive thinking is easy. It is often fear, yes fear, that holds us back in the life of positive thinking. When we think positively about situations it often sets the mind up for failure. These failures are more difficult to deal with than the day to day lives of negative thoughts. At least with the negative thoughts, we know what to expect. In order to move from a negative mind set to a positive mind set, all holds on life need to be lifted and confidence in who we are and the abilities we have restored.
Along these same lines, remaining positive in the face of defeat is another aspect of living the positive lifestyle. Everyone fails, everyone stops short of full achievement at some point in their lives, this is the heart of drive. Without those defeats, the successes who fall short and be worth less and less to us over time.
Yet another aspect of positive thinking is being thankful for the things we already have achieved in life. These achievements took dedication and time spent working toward a positive goal. The homes we live in, the children we birth, the education we have achieved are all accomplishments and need to be given their due praise. Once we take a step back from lifes expectations and look at what we have already achieved, positive thinking seems all the more easy to do.
The energy needed to move from a negative thinker to a positive thinker is all there for the taking. Dread is the biggest energy drainer in the world and when a person chooses to stop dreading things in life and start using that spent energy on achieving a positive lifestyle, the sun will open and the horizon will seem to go on forever.
The next time you have to urge to say something will not happen, swallow that fear and negative expectation then allow yourself to hope that it will happen. You will find that believing in yourself is the key to a more fulfilling life. Increased productivity on the job, a more satisfying relationship, a larger raise or a coveted promotion, a more gratifying social lifeall of these are possible through positive thinking.

What Truly Is Your Passion?
Thanks for visiting our WorldVentures site.
In today’s fast-paced world, it is easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We commit ourselves to our responsibilities, obligations, and expectations, but we often do so at the expense of our dreams, aspirations, and goals. Our society and our lives are demanding, leaving us with little time and energy to focus on what may seem like selfish or even childish dreams. However, without fulfilling those inner desires we end up loosing an important part of ourselves.
In order to attempt a self-help method of reintroducing happiness and passion into our lives, we must first ask ourselves a few questions. What made us happy as children? What life goals did we have when we were young? What did we want to be?
The first step to finding happiness is realizing what it is that makes you want to get up and start moving in the morning. Those aspects of life that leave you whistling are the ones that hold the key to the passions of life.
There are those that have given up the things they wanted most in life in order to be what they were expected to become. These were the dreams we allowed to falter because life expected something or we perceived life expected something more of us than we had time to give.
What are you passionate about? That may be the hardest question to answer on your path to happiness. Your passion was once something that drove you every day and once time and reality took over, that passion became dormant and unneeded. Now, finding that passion again will take time, diligence and an attention to ourselves that we are not accustomed to taking.
Once that passion is rediscovered, never lose it again. There is a reason why the youth of the world do not listen to what society has to say and that is passion. Never letting the world take too firm a hold on your life is at the heart of your happiness. Sure, supporting your family is necessary and working is an inevitable evil, but that is not all the world is made of. Our passions are what make us unique and if we find them again, we need to hold on for dear life.
