The Simple Truth about Building One Way Links
August 9, 2008 by KC Kudra · Leave a Comment
There are a few things that all successful blogs have in common and what it takes to run a successful blog. This involves knowledge of a simple set of facts that are common to all successful blogs - RSS feeds and one way link building. A not so widely known SEO technique can make mastering these two things extremely easy in your back link strategy.
What makes these little known SEO practices so vital? One way links are crucial to the success of any blog or website for that matter. The simplest and most straightforward approach that is often overlooked by blog owners and webmasters is a dependable blog pinging service. Any one way link building plan should include it as a part of its overall one way link building plans.
Notifying blog search engines, RSS feed aggregators and blog directories that the content on your site has been updated is vital. This lets them know they need to come crawl your site for new content as soon as it is added in return you will instantly get high-end backlinks to your site faster then any other method.
You also gain a secondary benefit when some of their readers directly link to you from their own blogs and websites. This generates an almost viral, targeted and theme appropriate link-building surrogate for your blog that starts to work like an autopilot one-way link builder.
How One Way Links Benefit Your Traffic Strategy
There are a few key traffic tactics you need to understand at work here. One way links coming from authority sites with highly relevant content, high traffic volumes that are highly respected boost your standing with the search engines and their Page Rank calculations. Thus if your site has large numbers of these one way links pointing to it, it will increase your own Page Rank and increase your search engine rank position (SERP). This is much more valuable than a lot of links from low value sites with low traffic volumes.
Although Google doesn’t let out knowledge of just how they create their search algorithms it is widely believed that greater Page Rank named after Google co-founder Larry Page effects natural search engine ranking. The other key reason is many people subscribe to these RSS feed directories and aggregators and they will end up reading your content and a number of these will end up at your site delivering unique traffic directly to your site that would not have come otherwise.
Blog search engines should be central to any link building strategy. Bloggers regularly research on blog search engines and if they discover useful blog posts, they are likely to link to them from their own blogs.
This is also likely to generate comments on your blog, which can start an almost viral community discussing your topic, and bring more people to see what all the talk is about. Among these blog search engines, you will want to make sure you include the following three blog search engines Ice Rocket, Technorati, and. Sphere.

Traffic Generation Techniques
July 31, 2008 by Eddie Watkins · Leave a Comment
The importance of traffic cannot be overemphasized, and traffic generation techniques are of extreme importance to the future of your online business. Why? Because without visitors you might as well have no website at all.
The main reason you have a website is to get traffic. Let’s look at your website as though it was a physical store. It doesn’t matter what your products are, automobiles, books, furniture, or paper plates, if no one enters your place of business, you won’t be open for long. You must advertise your physical store, just as you must promote your online store. Traffic to your website is the same as customer walking in to your restaurant.
If the shoe stores does not have customers comming into the place of business, it will soon shut down, as with your online business if your are not receiving the website traffic that you need. You might be wondering how to go about getting this much needed traffic to your website. We will discuss four different ways of obtaining those visitors.
1. Search engines 2. Online advertising 3. Offline advertising 4. Word of mouth, or buzz advertising.
We are only going to discuss a couple of rarely used and less talked about traffic generation techniques, but they are very useful in obtaining the traffic that you need. You are probably famaliar with the mainstream ways of getting visitors, so we won’t discuss them because we don’t have the room.
Search Engines
This is not about SEO because you will have read all you can about that. It works if you know what you are doing, but generally not if you just follow instructions by rote. However there are ways to use search engines to get to your web pages.
Smart pages is one technique that is used. Smart pages are created using keywords that people use in order to get information on the web. You create as many of these pages as you can using different keywords. Your visitors never see these pages, even though the spider can find these smart pages when they search the web. There is software that you can purchase to create these pages so you won’t end up with duplicate webpages.
When a person does a search using one of the search engines, and they use a certain keyword. The keyword that the individual is looking for has already been indexed with your page connected to that keyword. So you would think that the person would be directed to your indexed page. But they are directed to the landing page that the software has been programmed for. You can create as many of these smart pages as you like, and the visitor is sent to whatever page the software is programmed for.
That is just one of many techniques that can be used to direct search engine users to your website when they are seeking information with which you can provide them.
Online Advertising
When advertising online there are a few option that a person can take advantage of. If you have a Facebook page, you can get free links from it. You can also get free links from your post that you put on Twitter. In my opinion the best priced pay-per-click option that you have is to go with Searchfeed. Searchfeed charges 1 cent for pay-per-click advertising, and that is a great deal compared to Adwords.
Classified Advertising
When advertising any product, any traffic that you can drum up is good traffic. Go to your local free newspaper, put an ad in it advertising your website URL. This has been proven to be a great technique for getting traffic to ones site. Sending out flyers through to mail, you can purchase mailing list on peel and stick labels of people that are interested in online business opportunities. Post cards are a great source of visitors to your website. Sometimes we forget that advertsing offline can be just as rewarding as advertsing online.
Buzz Advertising
Buzz advertising is a good way to promote your products. Get talking about your products and the benefits that they can bring, get your family and friends to do the same get the word out. Wherever you go drop a couple of your business cards, at the doctors office, the car repair place, pin a couple up at your local grocery store. The more your advertising is placed in front of people the more likely they are going to respond to it.
The importance of website traffic to your online business is critical and once you have tried the conventional advertising methods, try some of the traffic generation techniques outlined above: who knows? It might be what is needed to give your traffic a boost.
The importance of traffic cannot be overemphasized, and traffic generation techniques are of extreme importance to the future of your online business. Why? Because without visitors you might as well have no website at all.
A FREE Web Log Can Increase Online Traffic
July 31, 2008 by Elizabeth Clark · Leave a Comment
If you’re just searching the web or have a affiliate website online, guess what? Visitors to your website is very important. Also the websites you visit help the owners get free traffic. Imagine traffic as a major highway full of automobiles searching for a exit. And the exit is your website.
Comcast, MSN, AOL, Qwest and many more networks are the lanes of the Internet highway. Now the millions of cars on this highway are people. These people are looking for favorable exits which are websites and weblogs. And your goal is to make your exit look more favorable to attract as many cars as you can.
I’m going to show you how to increase online traffic FREE. Meaning as in the example above; show you how to make your exit shine brighter than all other exits. Drawling vehicles to your exit. If you’re not familiar with a technique called “keyword optimization” you can spend major dollars alone doing this.
Now remember my friend in no way am I claiming to know all about increasing online traffic to your website. What I do claim to know and share with you is a nontechnological simple systematic method giving you FREE targeted website visitors. I’ll keep this generalized for time constraints but for the smaller details I’ll leave my contact info at the conclusion of this article.
The majority of this information is for affiliate marketers because this is what I do, sale affiliate products. There is usually no startup cost, you receive a free affiliate website, and ClickBank.com has thousands of great products worth selling, check them out.
Now unless you have money for mega advertising that’s good! But for the average affiliate marketer, this is not the case. You see the whole reason behind affiliate marketing is saving time and money! Now here is where your cost comes in, and you’re trying to avoid extra cost, right?
Pay-per click advertising is very effective yet it can cost you as much as $600 annually. You can visit (AdWords.google.com) or (enhance.com) for more pay-per click information. But you’ll need a plan to receive FREE traffic.
The proper keywords should be the beginning of your plan and these keywords should relate to the product you’re trying to promote. Let’s say for example, apples is the product you want to promote. Then the keyword apples would be your “primary” keyword. The keyword apples is extremely competitive for the beginner affiliate marketer. Remember as a beginner you want “less competitive” keywords.
Climbing from the bottom to the top should be your goal when competing for keywords in your particular market. By targeting keywords with 3 or more words describing (apples) is far more effective. Example: (red shiny little Apple) is more effective than the word (apples).
Now there are search engine tools online available to verify if people are searching for your particular product. These tools show you exactly what people are typing into the Google, Yahoo or Alexa search engines when looking for your particular product. So to increase online traffic in the search engines you will need: freekeywords.wordtracker.com
For other free tools simply type into any search engine the words “free keyword tools” with these keyword tools just type in the name of any product you’re trying to promote, and see what people are typing in the search engines to locate your product. Then locate the keyword phrases that best describe your product starting from the bottom.
These are generally called (Long tail keywords). Remember your website success to increase online traffic is all about effective keywords. For more detailed information about the effective use of keywords please visit: goodkeywords.com they have free tools and information.
Finding the right keywords will be fairly easy using these above websites. Now let’s change our ugly affiliate website link to a website link that matches our primary keyword. In our above example (apples) was our primary keyword. And “shiny little red Apple” is our long tail keyword.
Remember affiliate website links don’t look pretty because there are payment code’s embedded in the link. Example: my ClickBank.com affiliate link looks like this:http://candyc77.apples.hop.clickbank.net my paid code identifier is candyc77. This doesn’t look good. But to get paid I need this link!
By going to this website: http://www.shorturl.com and paying only $1.88 for the entire year; your affiliate website can look like this: Apples.2fortune.com this looks more professional to your prospects.
Now by following all of my above advice and using the proper (long tail keywords) for your product; let’s find the best traffic vehicle to push your new affiliate website higher in search engine rankings. And this vehicle is a web blog better known as Web log. You can get this free powerful website booster at: www.blogger.com or WordPress.com.
I don’t have time to explain the awesome advantages of using a Web blog instead of a website promote your affiliate products. The RSS feed advantages are tremendous and you can learn more at whatever Web blog site you choose to join above.
Just remember it’s easy because it’s already installed and search engines LOVE RSS feed. Now once your new blog is set up you want to talk about your affiliate product using your primary, secondary and Long tail keywords.
Remember in the earlier example, your primary keyword was apples which is to competitive for now. You might use (candy apples) as your secondary keyword but this is still to competitive for the beginner. To increase online traffic you should begin with “longtail keywords”.
As I stated earlier (Long tail keywords) are phrases with 3 or more words in the phrase. You have a smaller audience using Long tail keywords; but this is where you start for free search engine traffic.
Use the long tail keywords you have chosen in the description of your weblog to describe your affiliate product. Also include the better looking affiliate link you’ve obtained from http://www.shortURL.com. http://Apples.2fortune.com is our example linked we acquired from http://www.shortURL.com. As .com links improve affiliate sales. I highly recommend a .com link to increase online traffic.
Now if you really want to increase online traffic once your web blog is up and working and you are making posts daily or weekly. Visit: http://www.technorati.com this website keeps track of ALL web blog’s. By clicking on blog on their website you can view the blog’s that are related to yours. Learning from others is always an advantage. Don’t forget the homework of studying the above websites I gave you.
All of these websites are very important and deserve some studying. If you learn how to use “longtail keywords” and the benefits of a Web blog, and learn the power of this website: http://www.technorati.com (ask questions) this general guideline will increase online traffic to your web blog. Now you have the competitive edge for free online traffic, let’s get busy.
Increase Website Traffic In 10 Minutes
July 31, 2008 by Jeffrey S. Gross · Leave a Comment
A critical element of running a successful business on the internet is getting people to visit your site. Attracting site visitors is called getting traffic.
Bringing internet traffic your way can pose as quite an intimidating challenge, as you are competing with millions and millions of other Web sites for attention. Moreover, new sites are being launched pretty much every day. Simply creating a nice site and getting it published won’t automatically attract customers. New and smaller sites are always vying for attention with mammoth, internationally known Web sites.
Here is how it works: most people surf the Web for information or products using search engines such as Google, Yahoo or MSN. Many people enter general terms into the search box (for example, dogs, music or cars), and the search engines deliver a listing of sites containing those terms.
This gives established mega-sites such as eBay, Amazon and Wikipedia a tremendous advantage over everyone else, as they contain these terms on multiple pages, are already well-known, and are visited by millions of people daily. Newcomers and smaller ventures with the same terms get buried deep in the search engine rankings.
Relying solely on search engine ranking isn’t the only way to generate traffic to your site, thank goodness. Experiment with different approaches for helping people to find your site. The following are three ways to accomplish that goal:
Exchanging links with other complimentary Web sites: Having other sites include your link on theirs improves how well your site does on the search engines (that is, it helps get your site listed on an earlier page when people search using general terms). You can contact the owners of sites that have non-competing but similar products as yours, and request a link exchange. Or, you can create your own blog on a site such as blogger.com or blogspot.com, and put your link in your blog entries.
Write free articles for other sites: Many Web owners seek to keep the content on their sites fresh, or send out e-mail newsletters (known as e-zines) to regular customers that subscribe to them. In exchange for providing them with free material they can use, these site owners will allow you to include your Web site information within or at the end of the article, which can lead people from their site to yours.
Use traditional advertising methods: Tried-and-true ways for getting word out about your Web site include placing television and radio ads, handing out business cards and fliers with your URL on them, or giving away items such as pens, water bottles or refrigerator magnets that include your Web address. These techniques are not for brick and mortar businesses alone.
Redirected Domain Web site Traffic: This choice is the simplest of the group. It requires tiny amounts of work and it really does get your web site unique visitors fast. To sum it up, you don’t need to work real hard to build links, or even lift a finger. If you pick a trusted traffic dealer, you will be seeing real unique visitors showing up at your website. You will be utilizing their websites popularity to get your site visitors, it is a great way for any webmaster to get some real traffic. Please read on for our company recommendations.
The idea is to get your site name in front of as many potential customers as possible. Using low-cost techniques like these can boost your site traffic.
Amplify Your Article Marketing Efforts

Thanks to the advent of article marketing, you can now drive quality traffic to your website and improve your page ranking without the need to launch link building campaigns or shelling out money for paid listings. All you need to do is produce quality articles and have them distributed to article submission sites and directories.
In an instant, you will be able to position yourself as an expert on your chosen niche, build numerous inbound links for your website, and make your website more valuable to the eyes of search engines.
Due to the proven effectiveness of article marketing, millions of online entrepreneurs from all points of the globe are currently using it. If you want to stay on top of your game and get ahead of the pack, you will need these 4 efficient ways that can help you grow your article marketing:
To increase the chances of your articles being republished, you need to make sure that they are highly informative, useful and valuable to the lives of your potential clients, content-rich, and well-written.
To give your website more exposure and to strengthen your online presence, I suggest that you pull up your numbers and write at least 10 articles per day. By doing this, you’ll get a minimum of 10 inbound links on a daily basis that can dramatically boost your search engine ranking.
Widely distribute your articles. This is another way to boost the number of your inbound links as you get one backlink for every submission. Post your articles on leading article submission sites and directories. Also, submit them to related blogs, forums, and on your website. Make sure that you tell your readers that they can use your articles on their blogs and websites as long as they keep your resource box intact.
Just make sure that you insert your website’s URL on every page of your book to make it easier for your recipients to give you a visit should they find your website interesting.
Be consistent. To strengthen your online presence and to promote easy recall, you must consistently write and distribute articles to submission sites as long absences can make your potential clients forget about you.
Generate Cheap Web Traffic
July 29, 2008 by Greg Smithers · Leave a Comment
Most Search Engine Optimization experts tend to agree that content is king on the web. But this simple catch-phrase can be misleading. It should really be ‘fresh content’ is king. Providing original content is a way to avoid having to find cheap web traffic because it will eventually generate traffic for free.
A simple technique to avoid providing duplicate content is to re-write parts of the original and include some of your own custom content. Another is to regularly replace older articles on your site with fresh ones. This does require some effort, but you can find scripts that can assist in both finding articles and automatically replacing older ones on a schedule.
Writing your own content is probably the best way to guarantee that your content is original and not replicated on other websites. It is also what search engines love.
However, a blank sheet of paper (or blank word processing document) can be quite frightening for many people. Fortunately, there are methods which can make the process of writing a lot easier.
The first thing to consider is to write about a subject you have some knowledge and passion for. Don’t take too long writing the first draft as you will be the only person reading this. You can edit it later on.
Start by writing just what comes to mind. Before you know it you will produce plenty of content. Later on you can return to edit it so that it is suitable for publishing. Always keep in mind what your audience would find useful.
A great thing about the web is that people like to read screen-size amounts at one time. You only have to write about 400-500 words rather than a long essay.
A great way to lift your credibility (and obtain backlinks at the same time) is to publish your work in an article directory. However, if you want it to remain totally original you may prefer to just leave it on your own site.
After you have published your first piece of work you will see that the process isn’t as frightening as you first thought. Soon you will be able to compose lots of fresh interesting content that both the search engines and your visitors will love.
Make The Best Out Of Your Article Marketing Campaign
July 29, 2008 by Dave Krost · Leave a Comment
Gone are the days when popularizing your website and promoting your products require huge advertising budget and a great deal of technical skills. Today, thanks to article marketing, you can drive quality traffic to your website for free and build numerous inbound links for your website without begging established webmasters to link with you or paying for expensive link placements.
Pick the most appropriate topics for your articles. If you want to establish your expertise on your chosen niche, provide your potential clients with information that they truly need, and pre-sell your products and services all at the same time, you better write about topics that are highly related to your offerings and to the pressing issues being faced by your target market.
Let me give you a quick example: if you are selling ebooks about “How to Make Money Online”, you are most probably targeting those people who would like to earn extra cash through the World Wide Web.
So, it is just but right to write articles about how they can earn cash through the web using different money-making tools (affiliate marketing, article marketing, ezine publishing, auction sites like eBay, etc.).
Produce more articles. This is the best way to increase your inbound links, strengthen your online presence and your expert status online, and pull up your search engine ranking in no time. There are several ways on how you can pump up the number of your articles.
You can write short copies that are quicker and easier to produce, extend your writing hours, do batching, and keep away from distractions. But if you simply have so much on your plate and can’t find the time to multiply your copies, you can always hire ghostwriters to do the legwork for you.
Deliver complete, detailed, and timely information. It’s always a good thing for your online image if you can be the first one to write about new issues that are affecting your target niche.
It makes your readers think that you are different from anybody else and that you are a great source of information. Always be on the look out for new topics that you can write about and strive to not leave any stone unturned. Give your readers everything they need to know about your topic.
Strategies that Boost your Website Traffic
July 29, 2008 by Mark Hall · Leave a Comment
You can boost your website traffic this very day. Having pay per click option as an easy way out, let us examine if there are other free ways to kick-start an increase in traffic. Blogging is the most popular way and if you do not blog as yet, you can set one up now free of cost. Write a post or posts with keywords related to your topic or niche, and then use the ping services to get the word out. These services will announce your link to many blog directories and websites. The more you do it the more will your website traffic improve but as far as an instant hit is concerned you will get it in one day.
Post on Forums - there is a forum out there for most subjects and you can usually register for free. Search Google using your keywords and the word forum in order to find a good forum. You cannot overtly publicize your site so to draw people to your site write rational posts, offer solution and advice, comment on favorite issues and in no time people will throng to your site for free.
Article writing - you can get to see an article linked to your site on the same day because some article directories display newly posted articles on the same day. Other people take the articles and put them up on their site with your author data at the bottom showing a link to your site.
Digg it - Digg provides a marvelous opportunity for you to post amusing bits and pieces or a brief summary of your blog post, article post or prose text from your web site. It appears soon on their on their illustrious and top-line pages as it offers a powerful assistance to increase your website traffic.
Email your list - it is incredible that you do not have a list yet! Surprisingly lot’s of people on the web haven’t built up there own email list. The benefit of having a list is that you can prepare a series of messages for them or send email announcements asking them to visit your site for special offers or solutions which will instantly increase your website traffic.
Joint Venture - this may be fruitful sometimes but, fail at other times. If you receive an announcement from another website related to your subject then you can offer something significant to them and their customers as well. Normally, this would be something you would do to provide some benefit - a free document, a saleable product and both the list owner and you would share the profit. Some even claim to have thousands of names on their lists so that they may expedite the amount of traffic to their web site.
