Why You Need An Article Writing Campaign

Thanks for visiting our WorldVentures site.

Every business needs some form of advertising or marketing to promote its product or service - or merely to establish a brand identity for the company. If you’re an entrepreneur just starting out with a new venture, you know all too well how badly you need to get the word out about your wares in order to succeed as a business.

If you have a new business though, you may not know what advertising or marketing methods will be both good at making a name for your company and cost effective. In the online business world, competition is fierce. It’s all too easy to get lost in the crowd. However, there is a way for your company to stand out from all of the competition, and it can be accomplished with relative ease (and at low, even no cost!).

When you want to start promoting a business, product or service online, consider why people turn on their computers and fire up their web browsers in the first place. Most people who go online are looking for the same basic thing - information. How often have you yourself turned to the web to answer a question or to learn more about something, including products or services that you were considering a purchase of? You can provide others with information about your business in the same way. It’s a great way to pre-sell your product or service, and also, make a name for yourself in the virtual world.

To provide this kind of information to people, you can write articles. Write what you know about - your business. You need to write articles that are informative and entertaining to read, so as to capture and retain the attention of readers. By creating content along these lines, you will quickly establish yourself as an expert in your field, leading people to look to you as a trusted source of information and recommendations. People are far more likely to make a purchase from a source that they trust or one that has been recommended by an authority on a given topic.

So how do you provide information to the public? Write articles about the subject you know best - your business. By giving readers interesting and informative content, you do something very important. You build yourself up in their minds as an expert on the topic. People are much more likely to buy a product from someone who is an authority in their field - it’s basic psychology. Making yourself a trusted source of information means that you will get many more sales than would a competitor who neglects to do this.

Once you write your articles, the next step is to get them out there on the web where people can read them. You can and should certainly place them on your own website, but to get a wider readership for your articles, submit them to some of the many article directories online. If you can find a directory that caters to your niche, definitely include this directory in your “submit to” list. Other sites can then pick these articles up for use on their own sites. How does this help you? Simple - following each article, you can place a resource box that includes a short bio and a link to your website.

If you’re producing content that people find compelling, they’re more likely to click on your link and visit your website. This will bring in potential customers, and at the same time, help to boost your search engine rankings - an important step in building success for your online business.

Introduction to Affiliate Marketing

Thanks for visiting our WorldVentures site.

by Jeffrey Kenneth Gross

If the idea of making money on-line appeals to you, but you have no idea of how to do so, affiliate marketing is probably your best place to start.

Affiliate marketing, simply stated, is the process of promoting products and/or services that others have created, and generating commissions form any sales stemming from your promotion efforts. For many Web-based companies, affiliate marketers account for a lion’s share of their total sales, so they are eager to enlist new and motivated people to join their “sales force.”

This isn’t like “selling” in the traditional off-line sense, where you sometimes have to make a lot of phone calls or knock on a lot of doors to reach customers. Affiliate marketing can be done entirely on-line. You may never have to directly interact with a customer at all.

If that sounds far-fetched, it isn’t at all; affiliate marketing is probably one of the most down-to-earth ways around to make a regular on-line income. Once you have a basic understanding of what it is, you’ll see why.

Companies that have affiliate programs provide those who sign on as affiliates with a special URL to use when promoting their product. To obtain your own affiliate link, you complete a brief application with your name, address and other basic information, as well as how you would like to receive payment for sales. One of the fastest and most reliable methods of receiving payment on-line is through PayPal, which a lot of companies use to pay their affiliates.

The seller then provides you with your own unique affiliate URL or link. This is the link you use to steer people to the product. When someone who clicks your link buys the product, the company knows which affiliate earned the commission for the sale.

Where do you put your affiliate link so that potential customers can find it and perhaps make a purchase? There are several popular ways to promote affiliate products:

1.They build Web sites on subject matters that would interest the same sorts of people who might buy the product, making sure their affiliate link is easily available throughout the site. If, for example, the product they are promoting as an affiliate is a gourmet dog biscuit, they would develop sites that would attract avid dog lovers.

2.They blog about things that would attract potential buyers to the products they are promoting as affiliates. The body of every blog entry carries their affiliate links to related products and services that their readers might be interested in.

3.Writing and placing classified ads that you can place on other Web sites related to your product, or in e-mail newsletters (frequently referred to as “e-zines.”)

4.You can write articles on topics related to the product or service you are promoting and post them to one or more of the free articles databases on internet. Again, remember to include your affiliate link somewhere within or at the end of the article.

Finding affiliate arrangements can be quite simple. Just search on the Web under the term “affiliate program” or “be an affiliate.” You will quickly discover that the number and variety of money-making affiliate opportunities is enormous.

How Contests & Giveaways Can Help Build Your Business

Thanks for visiting our WorldVentures site.

by Theo McLanahan

One way to attract extra traffic to your website is through having a contest or giveaway. Although it is true that a large portion of the new visitors you receive may just come looking to get something for free, there will create lots of good publicity that is beneficial.

Consider the products and services offered by your website and then use your imagination to create a fun contest that will appeal to the average customer you will be targeting with this promotion.

For example, for a website whose content focuses on issues relation to parenthood one creative contest might be that people have to tell the story of the most embarrassing thing their kids have said in front of others or the funniest mistake they have made in parenting.

Contests can also be used in conjunction with the release of a new product. Suppose you had a website for busy women which offers tips on how to manage time better and that you were preparing to present a new product that discusses what to do to make it through the holidays. A possible contest that you could hold is asking for funniest Thanksgiving food disasters or best tip for holiday shopping time-saving.

Contest prizes can be arranged by owners of other websites or can come from your very own products and services. If you choose to go with a different website for prizes, you won’t have to spend any money on them and the other website’s owner will probably be happy to receive some free publicity. If you do this, be sure to mention the name of the provider of the prizes on your website.

For the less creative, simply asking for visitors to submit their personal information and holding a giveaway choosing a random winner from the submissions is still a great idea. You can use the same system for prizes that was outlined in the previous paragraph.

Giveaways can be used to keep customers coming back for more from your business. In a service based business like graphic design, you could allow customers that have paid for your services to fill out a giveaway form each time they do so and offer a monthly prize. This might be added incentive for customers to return in an attempt to win your monthly prizes.

Promotion of any contest or giveaway is the key to success. Inform everyone on your mailing list of the event and advertise it on you site’s home page. Mention it in podcasts as well. You want to spread the word to as many people as possible.

A large number of other sites will allow you to advertise your contest with them as well. Google “contest submission sites” to get a hold of some good possibilities. Press releases can also be well utilized to stimulate interest for your event.

Giveaways and contests can boost the amount of traffic your website receives, greatly benefiting your business. As you use them, think about the results and how you can adjust your ideas in an attempt to match your customers’ interests as well as possible.

What About Link Exchanges?

Thanks for visiting our WorldVentures site.

by Shep Samson

Link exchanges can be a viable way to promote your online business. Whether you are just starting out with your first website, or an experienced webmaster, if you haven’t tried link exchanges, you may want to consider it. Exchanges are a combination between traffic exchanges and affiliate marketing programs.

For starters a link exchange offers you the opportunity to share your links with other sites, and in exchange you place their links on your site. There are some new opportunities that allow you to do this through an exchange site, but most of the time you will have to contact target sites directly and make a request to the site’s webmaster that an exchange be entered into between your site and theirs. There are advantages and disadvantages to both methods. Try both and see which fits your needs best.

The benefit to using a link exchange company is that you are sharing traffic with other sites who are, by your choice, going to get you targeted traffic that can better match the goals of your business. It can be less time consuming than manually asking website owners to do an exchange. The more link partners you gain, the better visibility you have for your site. And, as you know more visibility means more traffic, and more traffic means more sales.

You need to be aware of a few of things about link exchanges however. The first is that there will often be a need to do a lot of start-up work, contacting webmasters and setting the process up. After that, you would want to be able to monitor the effectiveness of each link you place. There are some great resources out there to help you do so. You don’t want a bunch of links out there doing nothing for your website. Gaining link exchanges and maintaining them can be a good thing, but you will have to decide whether the time involved is paying off.

Another important fact is that you want targeted link exchanges relating to your website niche. For example if your website is about business, you wouldn’t want a link exchange about hair styles (unless that business is related uniquely to that market). You would want topics that are about business and interesting to business owners. Search engines tend to view these unrelated type of links unfavorably. You would want to try to link with sites that have higher page rankings than your site to boost your site’s page rank. Not always easy to do, but not impossible either.

There are great free directories that you can list your website in as well, to provide one way links. One of the biggest goals of link exchanges is to boost your search engine ranking to order to gain organic website’s traffic.

There are some who say that these exchanges actually take traffic away from your site by encouraging visitors to click a link before they buy anything from you. While this may be true, it is not the standard. On the other side of the issue, the increased traffic from improved search engine rank that you may gain by doing quality link exchanges, most likely will offset any possible losses. You will also gain some visitors to your site that you wouldn’t have gained otherwise, so most of the time it all evens out.

Many web owners have found great success with link exchanges and would not do without them. Again, it will be up to you to decide whether this system will be advantageous to your business or not, and if it will be worth it once you’ve got it up and running. Give it a few months however to test the results because they do not come overnight.

Making Money With Affiliate Programs

Thanks for visiting our WorldVentures site.

by Ade Carone

People of all walks of life are hoping to make enough money with affiliate programs so that they can quit their job. Are you one of those people? More importantly, are you focused enough to make it happen?

The first item on the list which you should do if wishing to be an affiliate, is find websites that offer affiliate programs. Commission Junction and Clickbank are the two big names that come to mind.

Getting paid is what counts so when you begin promoting a product, make sure you are dealing with a company that you can trust.

If you are really interested in learning how to be an affiliate, type “affiliate marketing” into Google and begin reading all about the topic. There is much to learn when first getting started.

It doesn’t surprise me as to why so many people get confused, frustrated, and give up. There are tons and tons of markets and products to choose from.

Failure will occur if you do not become a guru of any one method of product promotion. Do not become a jack of all trades. Become a master of one.

To be a success means you have to picture yourself as one. Picture yourself relaxing at home, working just a few hours each week. It is possible with lots of focus and dedication.

If you really think you never will be successful at online marketing, then working towards that goal would seem stupid. Have confidence in yourself and prepare to enter a fascinating digital world, a world of promise.

Don’t Make These Affiliate Marketing Mistakes

Thanks for visiting our WorldVentures site.

by John \\\\\\\”Angel\\\\\\\” Anghelache

Which of these affiliate marketing mistakes do you make?

I’m glad I have your attention. I’ll tell you what these common mistakes are. First, listen to this: In high school I had aspirations of becoming a pro athlete. I joined Gold’s Gym to get bulked up.

Once upon a time, I wanted to become a bodybuilder. Without knowing much, I signed up for a year’s membership at Gold’s Gym. Located in Washington Township, New Jersey.

My first day at the gym was a shocker. All these hulking dudes were lifting super heavy weights. I could barely do a handful of push ups.

For one thing, I found out I was grossly over-trained. Most natural bodybuilders can’t use the same routines the “juice heads” use. I didn’t know that when I started out. As a result, I wasted a lot of time on things that did not work.

Well, I learned from that experience. A few years later, I decided to learn how to make money online. As an affiliate marketer. So I bothered to find out which costly mistakes to steer clear of at all costs.

Let me tell you what I discovered…

In no particular order here is a list of mistakes affiliates make. One is going after tiny little markets. The problem with that is obvious. Pretty soon you run out of people to sell. A much better idea is to target big markets. Then find the niches within them. This way you can always sell to a hot segment of that big market.

A third big mistake is not promoting enough. The fear is that too many promotional emails result in unsubscribes. True. However, most of those unsubscribes were not buyers. They probably never would buy anyway. Make sure you email at least two affiliate promotions per week.

Mistake #3: Not pitching enough. For some reason, a lot of Internet marketers feel you should give away the barn. Not so. Yes, emailing valuable information to your list is important. The real juicy stuff ought to be sold. After all, if you don’t send out enough sales messages you’ll be out of business. One pitch a week is a good number to work with.

Mistake #4: Not selling high-priced products. The fact is it takes just as much time and effort to sell a high priced product as a low priced one. In terms of return on investment, it makes sense to sell more high priced stuff. You’ll make more money.

I hope you found this article helpful.

Steer clear of these mistakes and you’ll put the odds of success on your shoulders.

Making Money Online For Newbies

Thanks for visiting our WorldVentures site.

by Ade Carone

Having a plan to follow is the only way it would be possible to make money online for newbies and beginners. It may sound like some far off fantasy but let me tell you that is certainly is a reality.

The first realization that you should make is that you do not have the knowledge to conduct a marketing campaign on your own. By having some humility you will be able to learn at a much faster pace than your hot headed counterpart.

As I was beginning my marketing career, I thought that I knew everything there was to marketing a product. I mean come on, how hard could it be? I was sadly mistaken though and it wasn’t until years later I finally started doing well, after being taught.

Another setback is something I like to call information overload. When you are trying to figure out how to get started, you get bombarded with sales pitches for this and that product. It can utterly confuse you to the point of quitting.

If I could share with you one simple piece of advice, it would be to stay determined and dedicated. By constantly moving about, from program to program, you will find yourself becoming confused and disheartened.

Think of it like this. Each time you start a new program or a new plan, you are starting from the bottom up. Since it takes a while for any plan to work, you are litterally always starting with nothing. Build upon what you already have.

As long as you stick to your plans and are always trying to push ahead, you will get to where you want to be. Envision yourself as what you want to achieve, and you will start to work better.

Just stop and think of how upset you would be, if you gave up marketing, yet you would have been a success if you stuck with it just a few weeks longer. It’s a horrible thought isn’t it?
