Reducing Refunds on Information Products (Ebooks Part II)
Thanks for visiting our WorldVentures site.
In my last article, I gave you some easy ideas to beef up your PDF ebook. Have you added a Table of Contents and a Resource Guide to your PDF e-books? If so, you are ready to finish adding bulk to your ebook which will increase your customer satisfaction and reduce refunds.
Make sure that all your text is 12-point – Times New Roman is a good choice for long blocks of text. Pictures and graphics should be enlarged so they can be easily read. Adding comics and other graphics will make your ebook more visually appealing. All these steps add bulk to your ebook, while increasing its value to your readers.
“Johnson boxes” are those little boxes which include an important point, separated from the rest of the text for added emphasis. Add them every two or three pages – that will add meat to your document, while cluing your reader in to the important points you are presenting.
Use your e-book to tell the readers about other products you offer. One of the biggest reasons to publish an ebook is to inform your audience about what you have to offer. Add a list of products, complete with clickable links, so your readers can find those products. Three-dimensional cover shots will add visual interest, bulk up your content, and increase sales. It’s easy to do – if you can’t do it, find someone who can.
Include cheat sheets and checklists for your customers – they really love it! If your topic has more than two or three steps, consider a checklist. It’s a great way to convey information, especially on technical topics (using a digital camera; interview tips; great tips for buying a new home). Cheat sheets and checklists make this information easy to follow, increasing value for your readers.
When writing an e-book, take that concept to the next level. Look for other items to include in your e-book. Depending on your subject, your customers might like a sample contract or other form, a convenient spread sheet, or something else which helps them to understand how to do things. Why make them re-invent the wheel? If the tools exist, offer them to your customers.
These simple tips will add meat to your e-book. By adding value to your product, you will have happier customers, healthy sales, and fewer returns. To your customers, it’s all about the value – give ‘em what they want, and your product will be a success.

Creating Ebooks Your Customers Will Love, Part I
Thanks for visiting our WorldVentures site.
The authors of unsuccessful e-books have one thing in common – they don’t offer enough content. The best e-books on the market are chock-full of information that their audience really wants. That’s an important consideration for those who make a living creating ebooks.
Adding bulk to an ebook is a great way to increase customer satisfaction which leads to fewer refunds and higher profit margins- something people publishing ebooks have to think about. In fact, skimpy PDF ebooks are the number one reason people return information products. So how do you beef up your PDF e-books? How do you put your ebook on steroids and have it busting at the seams with value?
To start, add a table of contents (TOC). This helps your readers to find the information that they want, while adding two or three pages to the total length of your document. Not only is a TOC valuable to your readers, it’s easy to create one – most word processing programs can generate one automatically.
Include a list of resources at the end of your book. As you researched your e-book, you consulted dozens of books, blogs, web sites, magazine articles, and more. By including those links, you help your readers find more information on that particular topic. Your readers will appreciate it!
Here’s a short list of things you can put in the resources section:
- Print books on your topic;
- Magazines;
- List on videos form YouTube on your topic
- List of web sites on your topic
- User forums and user groups; Blogs (your own or those of others);
If you really want to bulk up your resource section and make it valuable to your customers, then put a short description of each resource right under the link. Tell your reader why you like that resource and what it’s best used for. People don’t just want a link, they want to know how to use that link!
In my next article, I’ll offer you three winning strategies for publishing ebooks. I’ll help you to add meat to your e-book, which increases sales and makes your customers happier. By adding content, you turn your simple e-book into a great value for your clients… stay tuned, and I’ll show you how.

What is Click Fraud
Thanks for visiting our WorldVentures site.
Click fraud is a risk that goes along with doing any kind of pay per click advertising as part of your Search Engine Marketing strategy. Pay per click advertising can help you be sure that you’re getting some kind of return on your advertising investment because you’re only paying when someone clicks on your ad and goes to your site but not everyone clicking on your ads is interested in your products or services. Click fraud is when someone that has no interest in your products or services repeatedly clicks on your ad just to make you pay more money. It sounds like something that petty and spiteful person would do to one another but click fraud can lead to huge advertising bills for companies who aren’t getting anything in return for that money.
Anyone that uses search engine optimization wants to advertise their website and try to get more traffic but the point of using search engine optimization is to reach your target market and get members of your target market to click on your website. Search engine marketing and search engine optimization are safer bets than pay per click advertising because of the high risk of click fraud that comes with pay per click advertising. The biggest search engines like Google and Yahoo have built automated click fraud management programs to try and combat the growing problem of click fraud but it still happens everyday to lots of companies.
A larger company might not notice the click fraud until they end up with an advertising bill that is three or four times higher than they expected. When that happens a click fraud management team from the ad company will step in and try to determine if click fraud is responsible but unfortunately the law hasn’t quite kept up with the changing technology when it comes to click fraud. There are several large click fraud cases that are still pending in the courts. Companies feel that they shouldn’t have to pay huge advertising bills as a result of click fraud and that the ad companies have a responsibility to create a click fraud management system to keep click fraud from happening and the ad companies feel that the companies are responsible for the costs incurred by click fraud.
Click fraud isn’t just done by a single person or a group of people sitting at their computers clicking on a company’s ad over and over. There are automated programs that are designed to click on an ad thousands of times per day which can mean an astronomical bill for companies without giving them any new business. The new click fraud management programs that are being rolled out by the major ad companies and search engines are alleviating some of the click fraud problem but click fraud will almost always be a risk when you’re doing pay per click advertising. Search engine marketing with just plain old search engine optimization is a safer methods to drive traffic to your website although they may or may not drive as much traffic to your website as a few pay per click ads would. A combination of SEO and PPC with the right click fraud protection can be the a great strategy.

Search Engine Marketing: What SEO services do I need
Thanks for visiting our WorldVentures site.
Are you confused by all the talk about SEO services and how you need to make your website search engine optimized in order to increase the amount of web traffic that your web site gets? It can be confusing at first to know what SEO services are all about and what SEO services you need to implement some search engine marketing into your website and to increase your ranking on the search engine results pages. If you have never worked with a consultant before you’ll find that working with a qualified consultant is the best way to make sure your website is 100% search engine optimized.
SEO services are more than just writing search engine optimized content. An experienced consultant can change your website and increase your web site hits almost over night. SEO services range in price but how can you put a price on success? You should be willing to pay for experience when you’re hiring a consultant because the right services can make your business successful or take an already successful business to the next level. If you don’t know what SEO services you need the best thing to do is to have a consultation with an SEO expert. Show them your website and ask for a written proposal documenting all the services that you need to increase the traffic to your website and to make sure that your site ranks higher in the search engine results pages. Be willing to pay the SEO consultant for the consultation but many will offer new clients a free consultation so you might not need to pay anything. Once you have a better idea of what services you need you can plan a budget for the project of overhauling your website and making it more search engine optimized.
Not sure that you need any SEO services? Well search engine optimization and search engine marketing are more than just buzzwords. These days the Internet is overflowing with millions of websites and blogs. The only way to make sure that your site gets noticed and gets traffic is to use search engine optimization and search engine marketing. If the cost of SEO services or hiring an SEO consultant seems high think of the cost in terms of advertising. Every business needs to advertise. Would you rather spend your advertising budget on proven SEO methods that are almost sure to drive more traffic to your site and to reach your target market or would your rather spend your advertising budget on an a blanket internet ad campaign that might not bring in any web traffic at all? Spending the money to hire an experienced SEO consultant to provide SEO services is well worth the cost. Your website will only be successful if you are bringing in daily web traffic and getting an SEO overhaul for your web site is the best way to bring in that traffic. When you see your daily website traffic double or even triple after hiring an SEO consultant you’ll be glad you spent the extra money.

What you need to know about Search Engine Submission
Thanks for visiting our WorldVentures site.
If your website has not been indexed by the search engines you will not come up in the search results. When you search the “web” using Google, Yahoo or MSN’s search tools, you’re not searching the Internet you are searching the search engines databases.
When a site is submitted to the search engines the search engines uses software called “spiders” to crawl the pages of your website through your internal site navigation and captures vital information about each page and in puts it into their database.
The information captured include Meta tags, content, H1 tags, Alt tags, sites that you link to and sites that links back to your site. The Meta tags are at the top of your web page in the code. They are in what is called the header. The Meta tags are very important to the search engines because they tell them what is on the page. Along with the H1 tags Alt tags and the content in the body of the text on the web page this gives the search engines the information they need to index or put into their database your web page. It is very important that your Meta tags are specific to each page of your site. Do not just copy and paste the same Meta tags to every page on your website. There’s a big explanation from that old and that later. There are several ways to get web pages into the search engines a database (indexed).
Submit your site to the different search engines. There are a lot of sites, for small fee, that will take your indexed pager homepage and submit it to hundreds or thousands of search engines over and over every month for the rest of your life. Run don’t walk away from the sites. If you keep trying to submit your site, especially to Google, Yahoo and MSN, this may appear to them as spam. Spammy is bad! I suggest that you do not even register with Google, yahoo or MSN unless you have 6 to 9 weeks to sit around and wait for your website to be indexed.
In part II, we will reveal the secrets of getting fast, safe submissions.

Keyword Selection and Placement Tips
Thanks for visiting our WorldVentures site.
A big part of successful search engine marketing is search engine placement (where your web page fall in the search engine results). Keyword selection and placement is a major factor in on page Search engine optimization and search engine marketing but whenever new businesses are trying to get their web page noticed and show up higher in the search engine results pages they often focus just on what there site looks like instead of also utilizing SEO strategies help get there web site to come up in the search engines. Here is one easy ways that you can improve your search engine placement results to increase your web page traffic and your sales.
Keyword selection is very important so choose carefully. Keywords are the driving force behind successful search engine marketing and search engine optimization. Your search engine ranking and ultimately how many people read your website depend on the keywords or key phrases that you choose. So pick carefully. When you’re trying to decide what keyword or key phrase to focus your search engine optimization on you should start with the most basic search term that a person would be likely to use when trying to find a web page about your product or service. So for example if you are selling refrigerator magnets on your website when it’s time to pick the keywords that you want to use for search engine marketing what are the first words that come into your mind? Did you think of words like “kitchen refrigerator magnets” or “funny refrigerator magnets” or even “cartoon refrigerator magnets”? Use those words as your primary keywords because chances are good that if those were the first words that you thought of in relation to your product those will be the first words that other people think of when they are searching for your product. When you are choosing keywords for your search engine marketing campaign always use more than one word. If you only have one keyword then you will get ranked very low on the search engine results page because the search engine spiders will have millions of webpage in their indexes that have that word somewhere in the page. The more specific you can make the keywords or key phrase the more likely it is that your search engine marketing and search engine optimization efforts will pay off and bring in customers that are looking for exactly the product that you are selling.
Make sure that you position your keywords carefully. Using your keywords spread through the page. I suggest using your main keyword phrase in your first and last paragraph of your content. And don’t forget to us them in the headings and in the hidden html meta tags on the page especially the “title tag”. It will make it more likely that the search engine spiders will rank your web page higher than other pages that might have some of the same content but don’t have those keywords or key phrases placed properly on the web page.
Search engine marketing is great because it delivers people who are actively searching for what you have. Unless you employ some search engine optimization strategies like keyword placement, your site may never be found by those who desperately need what you have.

Thanks for visiting our WorldVentures site.
A search engine marketing consultant will help you develop a website which can show up very highly in search engine results. You want your website to be high in the search engine rankings so that people searching for your particular topic will be able to find your website.
If you are concerned about how your website shows up in websites, you may inquire about search engine marketing services. These services will usually focus their attention upon three main areas: incoming links, your content, and your keywords. The first of the six factors a search engine marketing services company will examine is competitive analysis. This is done to see how your website stacks up against the competition along with which companies are in the top ten results and why they are there.
The second factor often examined is keyword research. This is used to determine competition for keywords and how you can make sure you are receiving as much traffic for various keywords as you can.

Search engine marketing services companies will focus upon site usability. This is important because you want your website to be very easy to get around so that your audience is able to find what they are looking for.
Off page optimization such as link building is the next area which will be focused on by search engine marketing services companies. Link building is important because this is a factor in search engine rankings.

What you Still need to know about Search Engine Submission
Thanks for visiting our WorldVentures site.
In part one we discussed the need to have your site indexed by the major search engines and ordered to be found in the search results. In this article we’re going to discuss three ways to have your site indexed, get into the search engines database that are safe and will not get you banned by the search engines.
Have another website (that is already indexed) link to your site
Once a site is indexed or put into the search engines database, the search engine spiders go out to those pages anywhere for once a month to several times a day. You could get a one way link back to your website from a site that is already indexed the search engines will follow that link back to your site and index it. The challenge care is to put your link on the site that is related to what you do. Ideally, the link back to your site is on a site that is already considered an authority in your field. It is not a good idea for a plumber to swap links with a web designer. Speaking of swapping links, try and stay away from reciprocal linking and buying text link ads, more about that at a later date.
Publish an article or press release that has a link to your site
This practice has several great advantages. One is that a lot of those sites that allow you to publish your articles are free and are indexed constantly because the sites are constantly being updated with new content. Watch your article is submitted to one of the sites it may take up to two weeks to go through their editorial process and the review. When sure article is approved, your site can be indexed within a couple of days.
Sign up for paid search with each of the search engines
This is by far the fastest way to get your site indexed. When you signed up for an Adwords account in Google your website will be indexed immediately. It cost very little to set up an account. You can put in just a couple of keywords that you won a bid on and did very little so that your ad does not show up on the first few pages.
A great strategy for getting your website indexed and building links to your page
I would do a combination of first setting up a paid search account with at least the top three search engines Google, yahoo and MSN. Then I would start writing articles 500 to 600 words and start getting them published on as many publishing websites that you can.
Search engine submissions are very important but if done incorrectly can get you banned from the very search engines are trying to get into.

Now That I have a Website
Thanks for visiting our WorldVentures site.
Now that you have a website the next step is to get it found on the search engines. If you talk with a search engine marketing consultant, he or she will have certain recommendations about what you need to do to ensure your website shows up near the top of search engine results. Search engine marketing ensures that your website will have the ability to be near the top of search engine results. People who are searching for your particular topic will then be able to click through to your website, giving you prospective customers if you operate a business website.
If you talk with search engine marketing services companies to ensure you receive great traffic, much of the attention and questioning will revolve around how many incoming links you have, your content, and how your site is optimized around your main keywords. These factors help determine your ranking in search engines and whether you will show up in the top ten rankings or not. This article will explain six important factors in a brief period of time you should look for when doing search engine optimization marketing.
The first important factor a search engine marketing services company will look into is a competitive analysis. This will help determine which companies are in the top ten rankings for certain keywords and why they are currently there.
Another factor which will be examined is keyword research and what keywords are used and what kind of results happen with these. If you do not have the right keywords used, you will not have as strong of an audience visiting your website as you could have hoped for.
A search engine marketing consultant will then look at your page optimization. Your pages need to be optimized for the various keywords so that your pages will show up in search engine results for different keywords depending upon the content of a particular page.
Search engine marketing services companies will then examine your site usability. It is important to have your website show up in search engines but you must also make sure that it is easy for your audience to get around your website and find what they are looking for.
Off page optimization is important and includes such activities such as link building. Search engines place great emphasis on this because you have to show the value of your website to other website owners who see enough value to link to your website.
One other factor you will want to look into is paid search engine marketing. This would include Adwords and you may want to think about this because you can put your website in front of your audience immediately.
Can you not see the importance of these tips if you were a search engine marketing consultant? There are certain steps that must be done to develop a highly successful website and this website covers many of those steps. Be sure to use these to maximize your website’s chances for success.
